Victory Leal is an Amarillo entrepreneur who has worked alongside family members to grow a fledgling business into one that now includes six locations and retail products in several grocery stores across the region. Leal’s Mexican Restaurant in Muleshoe celebrated 60 years in the original Muleshoe location in May of this year.
Victor has served as a director of the Texas Public Policy Foundation, and was selected by Lt. Governor Dan Patrick to help advise him as a member of the Tax Policy Advisory Committee. Governor Rick Perry appointed Victor to the boards of three different State agencies: Texas Facilities Commission, Texas Finance Commission, and the Texas Economic Development Corporation.
Victor was twice elected Mayor of Muleshoe. He also has served on Care-Net Crisis Pregnancy Center Board of Amarillo and Canyon, and the downtown Women’s Center Board of Amarillo.
Victor and his wife Debbie have been married for 30 years. They have two sons, Roman and Noah and daughter-in-law Amy. Victor is an avid cyclist, runner and fly fisherman.
